What was the goal of the app for Nationale-Nederlanden?
Nationale-Nederlanden was looking to communicate with its employees in a more personal, innovative, and interactive way that will set up new hires for success a lot faster. Appical provides the technology and helped to develop the process.
Proactively responding to customers' needs is important to Nationale-Nederlanden and so they wished to translate this approach to an onboarding program where the end-user employee is a customer just as well.
"Our previous onboarding ‘program’ was a quarterly meeting, and it often took place too late for new employees, leading to very little added value. We were looking for a way to give our employees a warm welcome and to inform and enthuse them in a clear manner about Nationale-Nederlanden. In addition, we wanted to extend our online-focused strategy and use it to influence our own people."
