Proactively responding to customers' needs is important to Nationale-Nederlanden and so they wished to translate this approach to an onboarding program where the end-user employee is a customer just as well.

It’s quite customary for new employees to sit down for a cup of coffee with a teammate on the first day or at least in the first week. Through the app you know in advance who is the buddy in your team and which ‘people of interest' your colleague advises you to have coffee with.
The app allows new employees, as well as their managers, to monitor progress in the app. Nationale-Nederlanden also works with flex workers, and with Appical we can ensure that everyone receives the same information before and after the first working day in a fun, interactive way.
